This application proposes to change the designation of this property to allow for: primarily infrastructure, utility, works depots and maintenance facilities operated by the government; no predetermined maximum building height - building height will be determined at time of development permit application; and the uses listed in the proposed Special Purpose - City and Regional Infrastructure (S-CRI) District designation. This application is being reviewed against applicable policies of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and the Ricardo Ranch Area Structure Plan (ASP). A development permit application (DP2025-05240) for a new utility building (sanitary station) has also been submitted. The development permit will determine the overall building design and site layout details such as parking, landscaping and site access. No decision will be made on the development permit until City Council has made a decision on this redesignation application.
