This combined outline plan and redesignation application proposes an outline for the future subdivision and development of 22.13 hectares of land in the community of Carrington. The application provides for: an anticipated 638 dwelling units within low-and medium-residential forms such as single-family houses and townhomes and apartments (R-G, R-Gm, M-2); approximately 1.27 hectares of commercial space (C-N2); 1.26 hectares of public park space (S-SPR); 0.31 hectares of environmental reserve (S-UN); and the location and size of future utilities, public roads and public pathways. This proposal is being reviewed against the policies of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Keystone Hills Area Structure Plan (ASP). An outline plan is a form of a detailed proposed subdivision and infrastructure plan for a specified area. An outline plan must be consistent with any policy plan previously approved by City Council.
