This application proposes to change the designation of these properties to allow for: rowhouses and townhouses, in addition to the uses already allowed (e.g. suites, single-detached, semi-detached and duplex homes); a maximum building height of 12 metres (an increase from the current maximum of 10 metres); a maximum of 2 dwelling units (the same as the current maximum of 2 dwelling units); and the uses listed in the proposed R-G designation. The application is being reviewed against the applicable policies of the East McKenzie ASP. The application is to allow for a secondary suite in the existing dwelling. This proposal is to allow for a legal secondary suite. NOTE: If this application is approved by City Council, the number of dwelling units, building type and design and site layout details such as parking, landscaping, site access will be determined later stage at the development permit stage.
