This application proposes to change the designation of these properties to allow for:

anticipated 3101 dwelling units within 5 to 26 storey mixed-use developments (apartment buildings that may have commercial storefronts); anticipated 1,091 dwelling units within 4 to 6 storey apartment buildings (M-2, M-H1), public open space including natural areas and public parks (S-SPR).

An associated Outline Plan application for the reconfiguration of the existing subdivision and development of 5.97 hectares (14.75 acres) of land has been submitted.

Amendments to the South Shaganappi Communities Local Area Plan are required to allow for this application. NOTE: If this application is approved by City Council, the overall distribution of buildings, building design, mix and size of uses and site layout details such as parking, landscaping and site access will be determined later at the development permit review stage.
