A change is proposed to close a portion of the lane adjacent to 34 Avenue SE, and for the northeast portion of 3610 MacLeod Trail SE to allow for: an industrial district designation that may be applied to older industrial areas that were developed before current land use standards were introduced [Industrial - Redevelopment (I-R District]; and to extend the industrial uses allowed on 311 34 Avenue SE to the parcels to be redesignated. This application is being reviewed against applicable policies of the Calgary Municipal Development Plan and the Chinook Communities Local Area Plan. No development permit has been submitted at this time. The distribution of buildings, design, and details such as parking, landscaping and site access are determined at the development permit stage.
