This combined outline plan and redesignation application proposes an outline for the future subdivision and development of 11.67 hectares of land in the community of Saddle Ridge. The application provides for: an anticipated 110 dwelling units within single detached, semi-detached, duplex and townhouses (R-G); an anticipated 202 dwelling units within multi-residential forms such as 3 to 4 storey apartment buildings (M-1); an anticipated 5,100 square metres of community-scale commercial space (C-C1); approximately 1.17 hectares of public park space (S-SPR); the location and size of future public roads and public pathways; the location of major utilities and services. This application is being reviewed against applicable policies of the Saddle Ridge Area Structure Plan and the Municipal Development Plan. An outline plan is a form of detailed infrastructure plan for a specified area. An outline plan must be consistent with any community plan previously approved by City Council.
