Summary#
The proposed changes to Direct Control (site specific) districts 163 and 164D2016 include adjustments to the front and side setbacks for single- and semi-detached houses as well as rowhouses within select areas to the north of Dieppe Drive SW and to the west of Quesnay Wood Drive SW. This means that: single- and semi-detached houses and rowhouses could be sited up to 1.0 metres from the front or side property line, as is the case in the first phase of Currie Barracks along the east side of Sarcee Road SW and; multi-residential and mixed-use development would continue to be required to be set back 3.0 metres from front and side property lines. Regulations affecting land use and density are not proposed to be changed.
